Pakistani YouTube Creators Gain Global Momentum as 60% of Watch Time Comes from International Audiences
YouTube has highlighted the remarkable growth of Pakistan’s digital creator economy, revealing that more than 60% of the total watch time for Pakistani content now comes from viewers outside the country. The platform says the rapid rise of local creators, artists, and storytellers is transforming Pakistan into a global hub for digital content.
In a statement issued from Karachi, YouTube noted that as the world moves through 2026, Pakistani creativity is not only flourishing domestically but is also capturing the attention of audiences across the globe. According to the company, the latest figures reflect the dedication, innovation, and success of the country’s growing creator community.

Data from 2025 shows that more than 25,000 Pakistani YouTube channels surpassed the milestone of 10,000 subscribers, while over 13,000 channels grew their audiences to exceed 100,000 subscribers.
In addition, more than 1,000 Pakistani YouTube channels crossed the prestigious mark of one million subscribers, underscoring the quality, authenticity, and global appeal of content being produced in Pakistan.
Perhaps the most significant indicator of this success is the platform’s expanding international reach. YouTube reported that over 60% of the total watch time for Pakistani content now comes from overseas audiences, highlighting the growing demand for Pakistani stories, culture, entertainment, and perspectives around the world.
From Karachi to Kuala Lumpur and Lahore to London, Pakistani creators are building cultural bridges that transcend borders, connecting people through shared experiences and engaging digital storytelling.
Commenting on the trend, Farhan Qureshi, Google’s Regional Director for Business and Operations, said the achievements of Pakistani creators go far beyond producing content for local audiences.
“What we are witnessing from Pakistani creators is not just the creation of content for domestic viewers. They are producing stories, perspectives, and entertainment that resonate with people across continents, redefining what it means to be a global content creator,” Qureshi said.
The latest statistics reflect Pakistan’s growing influence in the global digital landscape, with local creators increasingly using YouTube as a platform to reach millions of viewers worldwide while showcasing the country’s culture, talent, and creativity.
