On the same day, photos and videos of Junaid Safdar went viral on social media in which he and his cousin Zakaria were arrested for punching a young man.
Outside the Avonfield apartments, protesters chanted slogans against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and demanded that the Avonfield apartments be handed over to him before he left for Pakistan.
Meanwhile, a man used abusive words against Junaid Safdar and his cousin Zakaria Hussain, which infuriated them both and punched him.
The next day, the London Metropolitan Police confirmed his release.
On the arrival of Junaid Safdar in Pakistan in the same month, news was circulating that the PML-N was considering introducing 23-year-old Junaid for the election campaign.
However, Junaid Safdar, a political science student at a British university, did not play a key role in the general election campaign.
Since then, Junaid Safdar has been missing from the public scene, and in July this year, Prime Minister Imran Khan made a brief mention of his polo match in a speech attended by Nawaz Sharif.
Who is Maryam Nawaz’s daughter-in-law?
According to the invitation shared by Maryam Nawaz, Junaid Safdar will get married to Ayesha Saif on August 22.
Although no details have been released about the bride, it is known that she is the daughter of Nawaz Sharif’s close aide Saif-ur-Rehman Khan, who was appointed chairman of the Accountability Bureau in 1997 during Nawaz Sharif’s second term as prime minister.
Where will the marriage take place?
The wedding of Maryam Nawaz’s son will take place in London’s most expensive and luxurious 5-star hotel, which has existed since 1719.
The Lens Borough Hotel is located in Knightsbridge on Hyde Park Corner.
In 2015, the hotel was named the most expensive hotel in London by The Telegraph.
Many showbiz and celebrities have stayed at the hotel, including Barbara Walters, Madonna, George Bush Sr., Cher, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Johnny Depp, Michael Bolton, Mariah Carey and Pamela Anderson.
It also has Michelin Star Restaurant which is popular for its sweet dishes but it is not known whether they will be included in Junaid Safdar’s wedding or local dishes will be served.
Who will attend the event?
Junaid Safdar’s marriage will not be attended by his mother and PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz, who has said she will not apply to the government for permission to travel abroad on the occasion.
Besides, it is not clear about the participation of Junaid Safdar’s father in the marriage of Captain (R) Safdar’s son.
Since Nawaz Sharif is in London, he will attend his granddaughter’s wedding and there is a strong possibility that his relative and party leader Ishaq Dar will attend.
Apart from the groom’s friends and relatives, no details have come to light as to whether any PML-N leader will attend the wedding.
