Leading pop and playback singer Humaira Channa's mother has passed away and her fans including showbiz personalities have expressed deep sorrow and grief.

Lucky Naz, the mother of Humaira Channa, who was born in a showbiz family in Hyderabad, Sindh, was also a singer.

Humaira Channa told fans in a Facebook post on September 9 that her mother had passed away. She also appealed to fans to pray for her mother's forgiveness.

Dozens of music and showbiz personalities expressed their grief over the singer's death, while several singers and poets also expressed their grief over her death.

Humaira Channa did not specify where her mother would be buried, but her mother lives in Karachi.

The singer's mother Lucky Naz has also been a popular singer in the past. She sang in national languages ​​including Sindhi, Seraiki, and Punjabi, but mostly sang in Sindhi.

Like Humaira Chana's mother, her father Ghulam Muhammad Chana also belonged to the showbiz industry and directed several films.

Ghulam Muhammad Channa initially worked for Radio Pakistan, but after 1980 he also started making films and in this regard, he moved from Hyderabad to Lahore.

Humaira Channa was also awarded the Pride of Performance Award by the Government of Pakistan in 2016 in recognition of her singing services.
