Opening Ceremony of PSL-6 With a Colorful Enthusiasm

The sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been inaugurated with a colorful opening ceremony full of enthusiasm.

The opening ceremony of the Pakistan Super League was held in Turkey this time and this year the event was recorded and broadcast instead of being broadcast live.

The ceremony began with the national anthem of Pakistan, after which Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani addressed the gathering and thanked the participating teams, officials, staff, and all stakeholders.

He said that this year PSL matches are being played in Karachi and Lahore and due to Coronavirus only 7,500 spectators will be able to come to the field in Karachi and 5,000 in Lahore.

Giving good news to the people, Ehsan Mani said that if the situation improves, more people will be allowed to bring stadiums.

“Without the help of the government of Pakistan, the government of Sindh and the government of Punjab, it would have been impossible to play all the PSL matches in Karachi under these circumstances,” he said. Thank you

The Chairman PCB also thanked the foreign and international players who participated in the event and said that we welcome you to Pakistan and hope that you will bring back the pleasant memories of your stay here. We look forward to welcoming you again next year.

He also thanked all the franchises for partnering with the board to promote the game in the country and wished all the six teams participating in the event well.

After that, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Super League Muhammad Aurangzeb in his address said that he congratulated the Pakistan Cricket Board for organizing the best tournament of each passing year.

He said that HBL was proud to revive the spirit of cricket in the country and play a role in the return of international cricket to the country.

Aurangzeb said that PSL not only played an important role in highlighting the positive image of the country but also made the dreams of young cricketers a reality and many cricketers emerged as international cricket stars from this platform.

He said that no matter which team wins in this tournament, the real victory will be for Pakistan.

On this occasion, Pakistan’s leading pop star Atif Aslam awakened the magic of heads on his famous songs and doubled the enjoyment of the audience sitting on the TV screen.

The highlight of the event was the excellent graphics and essential effects that captivated the fans.

After Atif Aslam, international stars Imran Khan and Hamima Malik graced the occasion with their brilliant ‘woofer performances’.

After this enthusiastic performance, Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig and Young Steiners warmed the blood of the audience with their exciting performances of ‘Grove Meera’.

At the end of the ceremony, a spectacular fireworks display was held at the National Stadium in Karachi.
