Another Historic SpaceX Mission Begins

NASA has sent four astronauts to the International Space Station in a rocket developed by a private company.

Space Launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida with four astronauts, the X-Falcon Nine rocket is NASA's first full-fledged mission to send crews into orbit on a privately-owned spacecraft.

NASA has developed a new design for SpaceX, a dragon capsule that staff has dubbed Flexibility. NASA astronauts will stay in space for six months for scientific research.
