Renowned actor and producer Adnan Siddiqui has confirmed that he is also the executive producer of a historical drama co-produced by a private production house in Pakistan and Turkey.

In an interview with The Independent Urdu, Adnan Siddiqui said that the play has four Pakistani-born producers, including him and actor Humayun Saeed, while the other two producers include Pakistani-American Dr. Kashif Ansari and Junaid Ali Shah. Are

The actor said that besides Pakistan, there are several producers of the play from Turkey.

In response to a question, Adnan Siddiqui said that only 25% of the cast of the historical drama will be Pakistani while the entire shooting of the first season of the said drama consisting of three seasons will be done in Turkey.

According to him, 75% of the cast of the play will be from Turkey and the first season will be shot entirely there and Pakistani actors will be sent there within the next four months.

Adnan Siddiqui said that the said drama should be made like a web series and it will have at least three seasons, 34 episodes in each season.

The actor and producer said that the play on Salahuddin Ayubi has nothing to do with the government.

In response to a question, Adnan Siddiqui said that the story of the play is being written by various Turkish historians and he is also being assisted by Pakistani historians and research writers.

According to him, the drama will be shot simultaneously in two languages, Urdu and Turkish. The actor will speak his language in the same language, but later the series was initially translated into both languages. Will be done

Adnan Siddiqui said that it has not been decided yet on which TV channels the said drama will be aired, in this regard matters will be decided during the shooting of the first season.

In response to a question, he said that he will also audition to be a part of the cast of the said play while Humayun Saeed will do the same and if he fits in a good role, he will definitely be a part of the cast.

He confirmed that the main character of the militant Salahuddin Ayubi will be played by Turkish actors and not Pakistani ones.

It may be recalled that an agreement was reached between Pakistani and Turkish private production houses in Serbia last August to make a drama on the life of militant Salahuddin Ayoubi.

Earlier, along with Kashif Ansari Films Productions, Adnan Siddiqui and Humayun Saeed have also signed an agreement with the Turkish production company Ertugrul Ghazi to produce a play called ‘Turk Lala’, which will also receive government support. ۔

Adnan Siddiqui and Humayun Saeed have signed second major contracts with Turkish production houses in the same year, but shooting has not yet begun on any of their projects.
